The centre is an 8x6mm lab-created oval moissanite, D Color and VVS1, cut to Excellent grade, which is 1.5ct diamond equivalent weight. Four smaller 5A cubic zirconia flank it, two 2.7mm and two 1.9mm, so the setting reads wider than the centre stone alone. An oval carries its weight along its length rather than down into the stone, so it covers more finger than a round of the same carat, and worn lengthwise it draws the eye along the finger. Moissanite rates 9.25 out of 10 on the Mohs hardness scale, just below diamond at 10.
No, and it is worth being clear about. The centre stone is moissanite, D Color and VVS1. The four side stones are 5A cubic zirconia, two 2.7mm and two 1.9mm. 5A is the highest grade of cubic zirconia, cut and polished to the tightest tolerances and graded colorless, which is why the sides hold their own next to the moissanite centre. They are a different stone from the centre, and we would rather you knew that before you bought than after.
Yes, the moissanite centre stone passes standard thermal diamond testers, and a GRA report is included. Note that the four side stones are 5A cubic zirconia and will not read as moissanite or diamond on a tester.
