A round D Color VVS1 moissanite, cut to Excellent grade, held in four slim prongs that leave the stone open from every side. The post and back are 14K gold filled, a solid 14K gold layer bonded to a brass core and stamped 1/20 14K GF, so what sits in the piercing is gold rather than a bare base metal. Sold as a pair with push backs, in five sizes from 4mm to 9mm per stud.

With normal wear, no. The surface is a solid layer of real 14K gold, so the warm color comes from gold itself and holds up to everyday wear for years. Avoid prolonged contact with chlorine, harsh chemicals and perfume. If the stones ever look dull that is surface buildup rather than the moissanite, and a soak in warm soapy water with a soft brush restores full sparkle.
Yes. Moissanite shows as "diamond" on most pen-style (thermal) testers because both conduct heat similarly. Advanced multi-mode testers used by jewelers can distinguish moissanite from natural diamond, which is expected. Moissanite is its own distinct gemstone.
