Refund policy

At Sensitive Stones, we want you to feel confident in every purchase. If your jewelry arrives damaged, defective, or incorrect, contact us right away - we'll resolve the issue promptly with a refund or replacement.

Returns & Exchanges

We accept returns and exchanges for eligible items within 30 days of delivery.

Eligible reasons include:

  • Manufacturing defects (loose stones, faulty clasps, broken prongs, defective plating)
  • Damage during shipping (bent, cracked, or broken items)
  • Wrong item shipped (different product than ordered)
  • Quality issues (tarnishing within normal use, stone discoloration)
  • Sizing issue (rings & bracelets only; must request within 14 days, see below)

You may return or exchange items for any of the above reasons - most reasons must be requested within 30 days of delivery, except size exchange for rings and bracelets, which must be requested within 14 days.

All items must be in resalable condition (not extensively worn or altered; minimal inspection wear acceptable).

One-time size exchange (rings and bracelets only):

If you ordered the wrong size for a ring or bracelet, we offer a one-time size exchange within 14 days of delivery. Item must be unworn, in original condition, and in original packaging.

You must return the original item to us before we ship the replacement. Return shipping is free - we'll provide a pre-paid label.

Price adjustments for size exchanges:

  • If the new size has a higher price, you'll need to pay the difference before we ship the replacement.

  • If the new size has a lower price, the difference will be refunded as store credit to your account (valid for one year).

Necklaces and earrings:

Necklaces and earrings are eligible for return or exchange only if they are defective, damaged, or incorrect.

Custom/Personalized Items & Final Sale Items

These can only be returned if they arrive defective, damaged, or incorrect.

Gift Cards

Gift cards are non-returnable and non-refundable except as required by law.

How to Request a Return or Exchange

1. Email us within the eligible window at hello@sensitivestones.com with:

    • Your order number and reason for return/exchange
    • Photos or video clearly showing any defect or damage (if applicable)

2. Receive approval within 1-2 business days

3. Get a pre-paid return label and shipping instructions by email.

4. Send the item to:

Note: Returns must be pre-authorized. Items sent without prior approval cannot be accepted.

Return Shipping & Fees

All approved returns and eligible size exchanges ship free with our pre-paid label. No restocking fees.

Refund Processing

Processed within 5–10 business days after return is received and inspected. Refunds go to the original payment method.

Please allow extra time for your bank or payment provider to complete the transaction.

If you haven’t received your refund within 15 business days after we’ve confirmed processing, please contact us.
