The engagement ring holds a 9x7mm lab-created D Color VVS1 oval, cut to Excellent grade, in a four-prong setting. Its shank splits and twists into two strands set with cubic zirconia pave, and the wedding band repeats the same twist, so the two sit together as one continuous line. Moissanite rates 9.25 out of 10 on the Mohs hardness scale, just below diamond at 10, so it resists scratches and stays brilliant through daily wear.
The full set is two rings: the oval engagement ring and the matching twisted wedding band, both in the same size. You can also order the engagement ring on its own, or the wedding band on its own, using the Ring Option selector. The moissanite centre stone sits on the engagement ring; the band carries cubic zirconia pave only.
The centre stone is 9x7mm, which is 2ct diamond equivalent weight, and spans most of the width of an average finger. For the fit: wrap a strip of paper around the base of your finger, mark the overlap and measure it in millimeters against a US size chart. Between sizes, go up for comfort. A twisted band is a shank that divides into two strands and winds around itself as it reaches the setting, giving the metal a rope-like line down the finger. On this set the engagement ring's twisted shank and the wedding band share the same turn, so the two meet without a gap and the pave carries on from one ring to the next. With normal wear, no. The surface is a solid layer of 14K gold, so the color comes from gold itself. Avoid prolonged contact with chlorine, harsh chemicals and lotion to keep them looking their best.
Yes. Moissanite shows as "diamond" on most pen-style (thermal) testers because both conduct heat similarly. Advanced multi-mode testers used by jewelers identify it as moissanite, which is expected.
